I've got a simple question for you experts - will a cmoy w/ a Texas Instruments Burr Brown Opamp 2227 adequately drive a pair of BeyerDynamic DT 880's (250 ohm) for mobile purposes?

I'm looking at entry level/budget options. Is this at all viable, or would I be doing myself a disservice in not picking up something at least on par with say an ibasso p2 / d2 / govibe petite (assuming I could even find one) / etc.
