See, my current headphones are unfortunately falling apart (poorly built Icemat Siberias) and I need to replace them and have an upgrade for sound quality.
I've seen the Beyerdynamic DT231 for as little as $99 new (local currency, NZ dollars converted) on eBay while Audiocubes.com have the Audio-Technica A500's for about $NZ150 converted.
I want to use these headphones for mixed use.
What ones are better value?
I'm leaning towards the Audio-Technicas but it'll be good to have other opinions. TIA.
