Bear in mind they won't ship labelled as gift, and there's the shipping charges too.
I think my 7506 is sold (I am in the UK) along with my minidisc recorder, but I haven't weighed the package to let the prospective buyer know yet. If it falls through and I'm selling separately I will do so for £65 + shipping in the UK. ( If this information is not allowed in this forum please feel free to delete )

The 7506 is probably the best unamped bass you'll get without entering into the realm of Sony V700 bloat. With a powerful amp the DT770's are far better. That is when amped the 7506 generates 'reallygoodbass' but the DT770 does 'holy****bass'. But when unamped the 7506's are thumpier.
Not the most comfortable headphones because they half sit on your ears, but perfectly OK for most uses of say an hour or so.

Why am I selling them???
Take a look at my profile...

The PXC250 noise cancelling phone is the only one I need right now for portable use and the 7506's were being used as a portable. And my home phones... Well they make the 7506 sound like Dixons Matsui cheapies

Does that mean to say that the V700dj's have loads of bass? What about the highs?

Are they comfortable? You say the 7506's also aint comfortable, so I wouldnt be interested in them

Thanx

Ah right. Sorry for putting you off. I usually listen to much more expensive headphones, and as you might expect they sound a lot better. In their price range the 7506 is good. The V700DJ's have loads of bass but it's not nice thumpy bass like the 7506. I was mentioning the 700 only as a worst case.

The 7506 is not that comfortable as I said. It's OK but there are better. There is a headphone from Philips, the HP890 which you can apparently pick up in Dixons which is supposed to be very good and cheap, and above all comfortable. I don't know if they are any better than the 7506 in terms of bass but I'm sure someone can tell you. They aren't portable though... They are huge.

Yeah I've heared of Philips HP890's, and apparently they do give out a load of bass and offer great comfortability, as well as 50mm drivers and a 1500mw max power...Yeah they do look huge, but I suppose that may help with sound quality

I'll add the HP890 back to me list, I think I can safely wittle out the sonys it seems from everyone on here yes? except the 7506's?

What else should be on my list of up to £80 potential cans, may go up further is pursuaded

The eggos are closed but have a vent for SOME sound to come in, mostly for safety.

Isolation in order:

7506
<>
<>
PX200
D66

There's quite a gap between the D66/PX200 (which practically tie)and the 7506. The PX200 does a tremendously good job despite the tiny cups, but it's a very enclosed sound you get, unlike the D66.
