Ok so after 6 months of trying and 5 repair trips, UE finally got the fit right for my UE11s. In the end, the just made me get new impressions and did a total remake. BUT, I asked for the electric blue color, which I had before and it was a clear, see thru color. What I got back was a milky blue. Not see thru at all. It looks like they took my old ones and dipped them in a vat of paste. The fit, so far, seems to be dead perfect but the color isn't even close to what I wanted.

Do I send them back for a 7th time and risk getting back another bad fit or do I suck it up and live with the color?

HELP!!!!!

That is horrible, I'm about to send in TWO new impressions of my left ear (audiologist commented that I had a weird bend) to be replaced.

I would have to see a picture to decide... I know how much of a pain in is, I can't imagine doing it a seventh time as this is only my 2nd.

I tried to take a picture but it won't come out. If you go to ultimateears.com and look at the electric blue as a color, that is what they are supposed to look like. The new ones that I just got back are the right color but it isn't see thru. It is pretty cloudy and milky looking. It looks like they dipped my last set into milky looking clear coat several times. I also notice a ridge in one of the monitors and some bubbles in the shell as well.

I really don't want to be a pain in the ass as this has been a long ordeal but I think paying $1200 entitles to get what you paid for.

Thanks for any opinions.

Yeah the electric blue is a nice looking color. I would probably go with that if I got some UE11s. If it were me, I would not accept any other color than the one that I ordered.

If you ordered a Wagyu steak rare and it came to your table well done, would you just eat it or send it back and have it made the way you paid for?

I'm not sure how exactly the whole process works, but maybe they can just scan in the ones that fit you now and make a new shell.
