I just got them today and I love them. They fit pretty good, I have big ears, but after a while of use, will they lossen up and fit me a little better?
I think you're asking if the cups will get more comfortable. I doubt they'll stretch or anything, but there is a suprising amount of room in there! If you've got big ears, try loosing the headband as far as it will go, then sit the cups over your ears and pull down slightly to push the pads under your top lobe (this method is described on the package, albeit in Japanese). That will give the bottom part of your ear ALOT more room. If you need more room, make sure the headphones are sitting far enough forawrd on your head; a little change can add a lot of usable room to the cups. Once you find a comfortable spot, then adjust the headband.
well actually its more the top back part of my ear, but its getting better already. i guess i just wasnt used to headphones like this. and now i see why people say they get hot!
I'm still amazed these little cups can go around my entire ear without any discomfort. My first reaction when seeing them was "No way are these circumaural!"

I hope this helps!

Is there any difference between the earpads for the D-66 and the D-77?
