Hey all Ive been reading all the praises that the sony d66 eggos get. One thing I was wondering though was the looks. Not to be prude or anything but they look pretty funny to me hehe. I was wondering if you guys know of any headphones out there that perform just as good but dont look as silly as these. Im a student and if i do get some headphones itll be used in the library and i would like it if people walking past me wouldnt stare and laugh hehe hey we all have times when we want to look cool studying =P. ok thats all.

whatever headphone you wear in public, wear them with dignity and authority. and if people point and laugh anyway, punish them by singing along at the top of your lungs--off key of course.

p.s.:
i've had 3 complete strangers come up to me on the street on different occasions and ask about my eggos, and comment on how cool they look. almost everyone who sees them here at work thinks they are extremely cool looking.

I must admit that i've had some appreciative glances whilst walking out and about with the Eggos...

hehe, my eggos are quite the head turner walking around campus to class. personally, I find them to be the sexiest headphone of the ones I've owned.

I, too, get many positive comments about how "cool" my Eggos look. The person who coined the phrase "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" must have owned Eggos.

I think its all in the chrome button. People don't even notice my D-77's.

actually I do think the eggos look kinda funny in the way they stick out when people look at you from the front. from the side, they look ok though. I only use them when I'm sitting down anyway so it doesn't matter. I don't like walking with headphones regardless of size.

anyway, how about the PX200s? they don't look as big when you are wearing them but the sound is not as good. its domestic and cheaper too though.
