Also if you could get something free, why wouldnt you.....and i wasnt planning on it, until suggested, and also, it is hardly conning, as a relative of mine has spent thousands on Shure equiptment, just cos i dont own anything made by Shure, doesnt mean i dont know anyone who has got something made by Shure, so maybe i should get him to get them for me, as he owns shure equiptment.......

Anyway, i am going to do it if no one can be hugley kind and giveaway a pair they are not using....And it is none of your business what i should do.....

well said. shure have an amazing customer service, wether the buyer or emailer is genuine, shure is not bothered, ofcourse shure would not like to be ''conned'' and i admit i would not usually tell people to try this tactic because i was genuine, but shure are just proving what kind of service they have to all customers and people that email.

shure are great and they are greatful to all that use thier products, brought or not. but anyway like the kid said he's 14 and hes interested in getting involved in head fi and high end products like shure and etymotic, give him some credit for getting in on the act and enjoying high end products and head fi!

.

Shure would care if they were being conned BIG time, but they are not.

If they were worried they could make shure i had some shure products that worked with the foamies, but they dont, proving that they are just showing their great CS.

Its not like i am getting 100+ packets a week and flogging them is it!

I tried searching for 'olives' but now I'm just thinking it's a nickname.

They sure do like olives...

Yes, those are them. I just ordered a set of the medium olives from this seller a week or so ago, and received them the other day. I like them a lot... they're more comfortable than the yellow foamies, they seem to provide just as much isolation, and the sound quality is great (that is, I can't hear any difference from the yellows to these, though I haven't tried any close A-B listening tests either).

Well don't if you don't use Shure, that would be plain bad IMO. Using shure good will for this scheme would be bad IMO. I have E500 and ask them for a trial set of small medium and large, i just said that i had bought the E500 and found them not too comfortable (wich is true) and they accepted to send it to me. No need to lie. But then again if you aren't a shure customer you shouldn't do that. Wait till someone sell theirs for cheap. There might be some coming from the custom mold mania hehe.

I might be interested in your Ety's if you decide to sell them after getting livewires, as my girlfriend has been asking to use one of mine...and I don't really like that idea because she has a wild little sister and a baby brother, so I wouldn't want to see one of my babies go to waste :/.

Ok, Just got a pair of olives after using the FS fomies for my atrios way to long. Using the Meizu M6,let me tell you these little things ROCK. I was a little disappointedd with the muddy/heavy bass on some of the live recordings I have, but with the new olives the bass has tightened up alot, I also notice more of a soundstage and more detail, basically everthting has improved. I am very happy with my purchase, it anyone is thinking of getting some olives, just do it. Considering the price and how much the rest of you equiptment cost, this may be the biggest bang for the buck.
