Since I would like to do a battery powered A47 using eight AA for 12V, I was thinking of using the AD823. Should I just use this opamp for both, or should I use a different opamp for the buffer? Thanks!

In a '47' circuit there is no buffer - both opamps are operating in parallel. If you use different opamps something wierd might occur..

I'd try it with two AD823's
