When I received them I started a thread about being disappointed and asked for some advice. There was a large response to that thread. Everybody said be patient. I even wondered if everybody was simply brainwashed.

Well, they have grown on me to the point where yesterday I had a near religious experience with em.

What a transformation I've had.

How many others have had this change?

And one more thing....there was a thread about comfortable headphones. With these it gets to the point where you don't feel em at all. Can't get much more comfy than that. Not on the move though. Then they're a hassle.

I know exactly what you mean....an epiphany of sorts. I liked the ER-4S right out of the box, but there was a point listening to a Manhattan Transfer CD that I heard quality sound like I never have before. It was, in a word, incredible.

Enjoy!

Manhattan Transfer...yep. Heard their stuff with JamesTaylor, Frankie Vallie (sp), etc? The big issue with me was the bass. Don't know if it was just getting used to it, or em getting burned in or what but now it's a non-issue.

My guess would be that you are getting accustomed to the type of bass that you are hearing through them.

Unshakable imaging and uncompromising sonic accuracy!
This is how I would describe Ety 4S/P.

Have fun!

There is a point in the first couple of weeks where ears that are not accustomed to ear plugs seem to toughen up a bit if that is the right phrase. This results in a better seal and better sound.

Do a search on ear cleaning and you will be rewarded with longer filter life.

Glad you are enjoying them. I would not part with mine.
