It's still a shame. Actually not many people are going to be able to make it. There was tons and tons of interest, but it all came down to dates. One thing I've learned is that next time I'm going to create a poll with a few different dates to find when the most people can get together.

western NY, about 3 hours from Toronto. It's an easy drive and you're more than welcome to come down. it'll be a smaller meet, so plenty of time to listen to music. And I just got my TT setup today... haven't used it yet as I'm waiting to get my speaker cables back from a friend who has had them for the last couple months

If history repeats, then it should be in January (the bigger ones are usually about every 6 months it seems). Sorry to hear about the Visa issue, you missed a pretty great meet!

Anyway, unless someone else wants to take the reins and set up a meet, I won't have the means or the energy for a few months yet. You in Canada for a while?

i'm new to Canada

I should be in Toronto in January... Before that, I will go to Hong Kong this Christmas, there will be the first Hong Kong Hi-Fi Meeting.
