hey guys, i borrowed these headphones off my friend for a day and they broke!
the worst luck ever

the problem is that the left headphone just stopped working but thats all i know that is wrong.
Anyway can someone help me and tell me if its cheaper to repair these headphones or just buy new HD 202's? (by the way i dont have warranty)
Or should i just try and repair them myself if its easy enough?
thanks for reading

The problem is probably in the jack. Do you have any soldering experience at all? You could most likely buy a cheap 1/8" jack, snip off the old one, strip the wires and toss on a new plug

I believe you can purchase a replacement cable on the Senn website, since it is a user-removable cable.

Heh, after taking a look at my friend's pair of HD202's, I guess the cable easily user-replaceable as I thought. The HD212 Pro, which is the upgraded version of the 202, does have a detachable cable, which is why I thought that to begin with. Sorry to mislead you!
