Hello,

I got my new cans a couple days ago(beyerdynamic dt 770 80 ohm), I have been trying to accelerate the burn in process as i currently don't like the sound to much at the moment . I love the bass these cans have its unreal, the explosions are amazing but so far thats the only good thing.
I haven't quite figured these cans out yet as far as best settings and such, anyways they are comfortable and fit over the ears seem well made with soft cushions making them comfortable to me. the cord is long and straight which is nice.
I have a couple questions though....
I would like to know what is the best way to burn them in? right now i'm trying to throw classical and rock, some bass stuff most of the day and night. Is there a better way or a good music choice or something designed for burning in?

I also and wondering even though i have the 80ohm model do i need an amp?
can someone who owns these tell me more about them and give me some advice on how to use them properly?
I bought them because i read they are better than my hd280 pro and they are best for gaming. I need to hear my opponets footsteps in game its critical and i need to know where he is so surround sound i think is equally important.
right now i hear awsome bass and the rest of what i hear sounds low and distant very unimpressive. At this moment i like my hd280's better but i havent even broke these in yet. thank you
