Just wondering, there is very little information on the different models of amps and headphones from Stax.

Which of these could be as good as or beat the HD-600's?

Their North American distributor, Yamas Inc., charges quite a bit for them but many people "in the know" buy them as imports from AudioCubes or EIFL.
