I've used the search function and most of the threads that come up are pretty old. I did hear that Cardas would be coming out with one, but it was never followed up. Anyone on that?

If there are no plugs available for a DYI cable job. Do you guy's recommend I splice the stock HD650 cable instead of a HD600 cable? It seems that the HD650 cable is a bit thicker and easier to work with. I don't want to break the plug's apart or anything like that.

One last thing, what do you guys recommend in general:

Mogami Neglex 2534, Silver or Cardas (How much does this run in general?).

I'm making 3 of these cables (first time but I have extensive electronics experience) for friends/family.
