Crowley on Cocaine
Jan 15, 2003 at 7:37 AM Post #3 of 9
I agree, get the damn law out of my life. Please. If I want to snort coke 24-7 and die 5 months from now by leaping off a bridge in cocaine induced mania it should be my provincial will.

But then if it were legalized the CIA wouldn't exactly be able to sell at such a high price to fund there various activities.

Crowely, another sham artist whose legend outweighs the truth. If you read his bio, he died destitute. You think someone so buddy-buddy with the Devil might have done a little better. Must have struck a bum with old Beelzebub: "You give your soul to me, and I'll give you a low-rent flat with no hot water."

Hail Satan.

You nailed it pretty well. Crowley was just a pervert living his dream, at least most of the time. Yet, some of his occult investigations with John Whiteside Parsons intrigue me. But in the end, he died poor and sick. Poor chap.

Onix, you need to start another thread along the lines of "have you ever seen a monster", some kind of occult/paranormal thread. That was fun (and maybe it will steer us away from 911

)

Good idea Chad! Let me think about a subject, perhaps something along the lines of science and alchemy, religion or satanism. What do you think?

Yes. Think on it, but I would try and make it a topic that won't descend to quickly into a heated debate about religion that could get nasty. (although it could be quite interesting since we have a lot of bright, well educated folks here). The monster/ghost thread kept things pretty light. I guess it all depends on how you word it.

Strange, I was think about alchemy last week. (ESP?!) I'd never really thought about the subject either. But suppose science was able to transmute lead into gold.... Anyway...you go for it, Onix. I'm sure it will be fun, you seem to be interested in the same things as I am: the paranormal, psychic powers, cryptozology, the afterlife and all that fun stuff.

And yes, I guess Crowely was a pervert. Recall how he used to file his teeth and was famous for giving "love bites" during sex? Ouch...

Yep all that stuff is pretty cool. The best part about posting about here is that you don't get the typical paranormal fanatics rambling about stuff. Instead, you get educated opinions. I guess all that electronic stuff we are into pretty much keeps things in focus for us.

Anyway, I'll come up with a nice subject, just let me think
