I have now had a chance to listen to both of these headphones. I must say that I love them both I am however going to keep the Grados, I think. I just really like them from the sound to the fit. The other phones AKG and Senns all seem to squeeze my head too much and the Grados are nice and light.

The AKGs sound fantastic though, they even had more bass than I was expecting but when I turned on the bass extender it really kicked in. I also plugged them into a small boombox which drove them allright. I bought a 1/4" to 1/8" adapter for my Grados and they only came through in mono so I could use some help there.

Glad you're happy with your Grados, Bytor. Your decision just goes to show that some people (myself included) actually find Grados comfortable.....brillo pads and all.
