I just started using MAX audio to encode a FLAC file to ALAC. It seems to work great. However, when I imported the ALAC files into itunes it said the bitrate was unknown. Is there a setting I can change in order for MAX audio to determine the bitrate?

not sure, but i use DBpoweramp and the bitrate does show up in itunes, so it is possible.

db does batch, and keeps tags too.

ill do a search on max...never heard of it

edit:::i now see its a mac program...that explains it...but i would think max would mesh well with itunes
