I ordered a pair of Triple.fis on Saturday on Amazon.com and it was supposed to arrive today by UPS. After opening the package to my shock and horror I see damage to the package and NO earphones. I ordered the limited edition version so it came with the roadie case but there was no smaller case inside it. Needless to say I called Amazon up immedietely and they said they will be sending me a replacement. We'll see how that goes, but as of right now I'm fumming.

Sorry to hear that, thats really odd. What number were they supposed to be, we should keep an eye out for them in case they show up in the FS forums!

It's from Amazon as there's no affiliates selling the Triple-Fi 10's through Amazon. Sucks man, hope their replacement comes fast.

Sorry about your purchase not going well with Amazon.

Just an FYI! I think your title of the thread would have been more appropriate if you had of titled it Amazon Nightmare, since it is/was not UE's fault. When you receive your pair of triple.fi you will love them. Hope you receive them soon, and happy listening when you get them.

There was no documentation or invoice included in the box (so I don't know what number it was or supposed to be), it all seems very askew to me. I seriously believe UPS dropped the ball big time on this, I doubt Amazon would send me the case with no headphones.

They already charged my CC but if it arrives reasonably soon, no harm no foul I guess.

Good thing I didn't sell my Shures just yet.

My apologies then. Happy listening for now with your Shures, and more happy listening when you receive your triple.fi., as I know you will be drowling with their sound. (Can we get a drooling triple.fi smiley please)

Strange you're from New York, as I am currently inquiring the whereabouts of an Ultrasone Proline750 from Northern Light & Sound, shipped via UPS. This is the THIRD package UPS has lost in January alone to my home address. I think something is very seriously wrong with UPS and "lost" packages.

Thankfully I don't have to go through UPS, although from now on I might be hesistant to use them in the future. Didin't have much choice with regard to shipping for Amazon though.

I had this happen too a few months ago with Amazon. The package was taped up poorly and fell apart in shipping (or was HELPED apart, is my theory) by someone in the USPS who pocketed my stuff.

What I got in the mail was an empty box.

Amazon sent a replacement though.

I have to say, I've been having some issues with Amazon myself lately.

First, I read on another board, a guy who recieved an obviously refurbished product from Amazon, when he ordered a new product. I figured this was a fluke. A mistake in what went into the box.

Then this past December, I purchased a GE Superadio III, and what I recieved turned out to be obviously used, broken, and had been opened up too! (stripped screws, screwdriver marks, obviously been into)

I called GE to run the serial number and date code, and they assure me it wasn't refurbished... but since the radio is very off kilter, I'll be sending it in to GE for an under-warranty replacement. I'm unwilling to play games with Amazon, paying for return shipping only to find they send me more garbage in return.

I've purchased TONS of stuff from Amazon over the years, without issue whatsoever... but I guess from now on, I'll be real careful what I buy from there... and check it out real carefully too.
