Just don't listen to any other gear and you'll be fine.

Hard to do. Everywhere you go there is some Grado or AGK just staring at you through a shop window. Whats a man to do.

You guys are making me have second thoughts. No No No I'm done I'm done (but if I was really done I would not be reading this thread). Let's just say I am real happy right now.

Man, enjoy the music! I say if youre happy. Take everything on this site with two spoons of salt. Those glorious highs and deep bass means a slightly clearer high range and a bit better bass. Trust me. Keep your wallet tight and youll be happy in all your days. If you are happy just look away and laugh at the people trying to waste money for something they will never obtain. And if you ever get the itch. Put your favorite album on. From a nice CD player and remeber. Its all good!

Was the 2 month wait worth it--of course it was

Did you buy the Mini to use with the 650 also(besides the PX100)? Do you also use IEMs?

I use my SuperMini IV (upgraded from an early batch) mainly with my ER4P, that's what I bought it for but I've tried it with my HD 650. I was surprised at how well the combo was. I normally use the bass boost, impedance added and crossfeed with low gain with my ER4P. Reversing all 4 switches sounded best with the 650 to me, using a Zen Vision:M w/ line out as source.

Enjoy that amp.

So, what amp will you be adding next?

The Supermini IV has the advantage of OP Amp rolling. If you got yours recently do you know which op amps the Dr. put in? It used to be he shipped them with AD8397 on both slots with bypassed jumpers. Just like:

If that is what you have then you can try:

AD8616 on both locations
AD8656 on both locations
AD8616 in the 3/4 channel and AD8656 in the L/R
AD8616 in the 3/4 channel and AD8397 in the L/R
AD8656 in the 3/4 channel and 6241 in the L/R (known as the ST-WV)

Good luck.

Mine has the ad8397 in it. It is unbeliveable how good it pushes th 650's. I keep the A and B jumpers on and use dc to dc boost. I have a ST-WV on the way but might not use it. I am happy with the sound now.

If I had to stick on one portable amp for an indefinite amount of time it would definitely be a Xin amp. Between opamp rolling and Xin's constant updates there is always something new going on with a Xin amp. May even cure the majority of upgradeitis symptoms! Enjoy!
