About a year ago I was heavily anticipating the release of Pixel Magic's HD Media Box. This was to be my high end one box media solution for and audiophile and up and coming videophile do to the advent of HD. One drawback was that it did not have FLAC support. I did not realize till now that FLAC support has finally been added and there is also an Audiophile version of the box with less jitter. Is anyone familiar with this Media Box and have any idea if all the bugs have been worked out yet?

The Mediabox gets very good reviews from magazines here, mostly for video though. You can put one HardDisk inside and connect others via USB.

One drawback seems to be the lack of the brand new HDMI 1.3, allowing full HD video+sound content to be played through. I'm waiting to see an updated version soon since it is targeted for video play (mostly).

They have FLAC support now and, from a look at the forums, it seems that a lot of improvement through firmware updates goes on, which is a good thing.
