Yes, its another lovely request for anybody who can or has compared these two headphones.

The reason for the request is that I have some HD212 on the way but am really interested in the px200 and I'm not sure if to order them or not. There both £29. But the HD212 are a present and they can't be sent back.

Also is £75 / $116 a good price for senn 580's as a website called www.unbeatable.co.uk has them for that price?

BTW thanks for a great site I have been reading hundreads of posts on the best headphones and amps. The amp is on the way (super mini-a), just have to get the right headphones though I do have a nice pair of mx500 for portable use (when I use them most).

Perhaps you could buy both, do a review/comparison, and send the inferior one back? We are somewhat desperate for reviews of the new PX series...

I've checked both sites (as the two headphone are on different sites) and neither seem to have a returns policy unless faulty, so i would be stuck with both which wouldn't normally be a bad thing in that I plan to buy some 580's which means all of a sudden I would have quite a few headphones. Also the postage is so Hi on both headphones even if they did have a returns policy I would lose quit a bit of my money in postage, sadly.

Will have to give some though to buying the px200 anyway as they are in stock they shuld be hear in less than a weeks time.

Well I've decided to buy them anyway. Once I get my amp I will try to do a review (well as good as I can being a non audiophile) of both headphones and how they compare.

From the first few impressions, I think the PX200s are going to be a good deal better with a bit less bass and more present mid and high end.

Well hopefully when they both arrive and the amp I should be able to give a quick review. I'm hoping that the px200 is going to be as good as I'm hoping.

surprised that you can't get hold of a pair in the US and get them shipped to you. Shame that doesn't happen in the UK as the price is cheaper if not by much (£29 = $45) as would the postage would have been cheaper. If I hear of a retailer that does ship outside UK I will post it on here.
