How many Asians in here?

I'm half filipino, half white.....my white side has alot of Irish, so I can drink with the best of em, despite my 155lb weight

What sucks though, is when people can't tell what I am, they think I'm mexican....or some middle eatern race. I'm like "What?"

See for yourself. I eprsonally don't see how they can think I look middle eastern...mexican maybe, but middle eastern????? again, What????

I just did a search and found out that Elaine Chao who is a Chinese-American is currently the Secretary of Labor which by rule is 11th in the presidential line of succession, however she is not ineligible due to she is not a natural-born citizen. But still that's quite impressive.

I think I was supposed to go to med school too. So far we have an engineer, a chemist, and a dentist in the family. It was just natural that when it came down to me I was going to become a doctor. Guess not.

Now they've all seemed to have directed their attention to my little brother. Poor kid, he's a smart little guy but I just don't think he wants to be a doctor.

What we need is an Asian president! Yeah, not in my life time probably....

So, if 10 people got shot, and it was her turn to go up...since she's not natural born, would she get "skipped"?

i don't ever want to see an asian president. i love my fellow asians, but asian politicians are not good. at least taiwanese politicians are no good. they are all grimey bastards except my uncle, who hopefully will become the mayor of taipei this upcoming election. =T

However if you look at big companies and how many of their senior level executives are Asians, it's almost zero. It's like hearing Ford Motor Company is passing down their heritage to someone named Mr. Zhang.

your right...a mr.zhang would be strange running Ford Motor. but any stranger than a englishmen running sony in japan or a lebanese/brazilian running nissan?
there was a japanese-american general shizaki?Sp? pretty high up in the army ranks..so it is not beyond question.who would think a black man colin powell would head the army 20 years ago?
