the UPS man just dropped off my vibes.

just wondering... are the gunmetal supposed to be this green/gold? they don't look very gunmetal to me....

sorry about the blurry pic

supposedly they're supposed to mirror Porsche' Gunmetal color?? I don't think so. If anything, they more closely resemble a dark olive metallic

Just noticed something...and maybe its just me. But does that seductive female mouth placed right in the crotch of the Vibe wires make you think of....oh, nevermind....

I was planning to get these as my first REAL pair of headpones/IEMs. Are they recommended? Will I want to upgrade my collection to 192KBps or lossless because of them? How's the isolation?

There is a review at the beginning of this thread that will more than likely answer your questions and the price of the IEM's won't break the bank anyway. I think they are excellent.

going on 3 wks now i love these. yesterday i had the great experience of forgetting they were on while i sat on the computer all day! actually, it happened a few times. they are really comfy.
and i really like the pouch. its so tiny and the snap open/close thing is so cool.

I'am wondering if anyone knows how long these will take to ship to Canada?

It just says that its going by ground, and doesnt give me a time estimate.

If its anything more then 10 business days, i'd just cough up the extra 30-40 bucks to buy em from a store here.

First time poster here...

I've been eying the Vibes for a little while and I purchased them about four days ago. These were to replace my Sennheiser CX300's.

I recently received the Vibes and all I can say...I'm returning them.

Everything on the the CX300 is much better than the vibes in my opinion. The bass is fuller, the mids are more solid, the highs are richer, and the isolation is not even a contest. In addition, the cord is much more durable compared to the Vibes.

I've tried the plethora of silicon pieces and the problems(sound-wise) unfortunately were solved.

All in all, I'm extremely disappointed.

How long did you let them burn in? They can sound just as you describe new out of the box, though mine sounded pretty good out of the box.
