Hi everyone,

After putting a few cable configurations through a wave generator and oscilloscope I'm looking to put together 2 braids of individually insulated 28 AWG wire. One with 108 conductors and the other with 216. I could do them by hand (4x3x3x3 and 2x4x3x3x3) but it would take me forever -- about 4,000 ft of individual conductors.

I have not been able to find affordable braiding machines. We probably want the types that can produce solid 3 and 4-wire braids or perhaps those that do 16-wire tubular braids would be preferable.

Any ideas where we can get these at an affordable price or plans to build them? Perhaps something crank operated and the size of a small sewing machine (?)
