How would the Headroom Little compare to a Meta 42 with the following parts sound quality wise?

Elna Cerafine 470µF/25v PS caps
AD8620 op amp
Stacked output buffers
Alps Blue 100K ohm potentiometer
Vishay/Dale RN55D resistors
Class A
WIMA box caps
Belden teflon coated 22g wire

Would I need to get the more power addon for the little to even make it a contest?

I really need an amp for my DT 770's and I need to make my choice soon. Help me

Have you read kelly's Meta42 review ? That should give you a bit of insight into how it stacks up.

Fwiw, I've got both, and find that I listen to my Meta (similar to what you describe above, but mine is not Class A by design) much more often...it's quicker, more forgiving, bright and musical.

The Little sounds great too, but it's got a slightly woolier, mellower sound. There are some discs I prefer it on.
