How do I open up a Creative EP-630?

I am just trying to expose the driver inside by maybe taking off the silver ring or something.. I think there is a earwax buildup on the inside, or they could just be dying

Maybe try lift up the silver part, it looks like it slides off. If that doesn't work I don't know what will.

You should be able to take a needle and pry open the mesh grills - that's what I did with my Sharp MD33S buds. Yes, earwax easily builds up on the grill and those holes get clogged quickly. The only thing to do is regularly clean the grills or, as some have suggested, replace the grill with some foam.

If the earwax isn't a problem on the mesh grills, this surgery will be required. Kind of risky-looking for an imbecile like me!

You guys make it seem like a piece of cake, going on 45 minutes here trying with the pocket knife, I think I may need to use that needle for the grill.
