I doubt few of us here are unemployed, as Head-Fi induced plunges are pretty expensive.

So what's funding your Head-Fi addiction? (I'm also curious what kind of jobs we all have.)

My job is in the IT/IS sector as a spyware analyst.

I work at my families roofing business. We do many types of roofing ,siding etc. but I'm mainly project manager for sheet metal application.

Many of my toys have been funded by recycling aluminum and copper sheet metal over the past 20 years. The cost of copper has gone crazy at over $5/lb. and it's worth atleast half that as scrap...100 lb. = $250+

The last time I cashed in my stash of copper after finishing a custom home I bought a pair of HD650.

I'm a self employed carpenter/cabinet maker. Most of what I do these days is design and build custom furniture for a wealthy community of people that own large vacation homes on the island I live on, off the South Texas Coastline. Let me clear up that my clients are wealthy, I on the other hand live in a modest dwelling while they drive by and throw their extra change out at me.
I should make a sign that says "will work for Orpheus". It's also quite easy to find me on the Island, I'm the only Saturn in the parking lot of the grocery store among all the Mercedes and BMW's.

Solo motion graphics designer, but many days I just do digital video production or print design.

It's nice being able to write off all the toys. But then again, benefits would be nice too

Well, I am a freelancer too, sort of.

I have two academic degrees and was busy with project management, but mostly traditional people management within service production. Nowadays, I earn my living by being creative and trying to make the best of my abilities, and that people are paying me for

I work in the IT/IS sector as a Network Controller, part of an Operations Team.

The job has gone pear shaped at the moment, my job was absorbed into Siemens Business Services who now employ me - They've got us doing some user helpcalls at the moment and have not paid the correct wage in two months (since being employed by SBS).

Very annoying, but then again, I could be in a worse situation.

I'm in charge of maintaining the ice at the Atlanta Thrashers practice facility. I've been doing this since I retired. (3 years)
