Worst band names

In the spirit of equal opportunity, I think it would only be fair to have this thread so that the bands with bad names get the recognition they deserve as our good band names bands have. I would count just bout any band named after the lead singer/songwriter, IE john mayer trio, ben folds five, medeski martin and wook, etc.

Death Cab For Cutie (like the band HATE the name)
Pixies (LOVE the band, wuss name)
Korn (hmm, let's think, selery, brokoli, karruts, peez, uhsparaguss, potatoes... VERY tough...)
The *****cat Dolls (What!?)

I'll add No Doubt. Stupid buzzword from around the time they came about. This combined with the fact that they suck (sucked? Is it just that annoying hag sans the band now?) more than the law allows turns my stomach.

As much as I love the band(s) both Joy Division and New Order were stupid name choices hehe. Doesn't seem like that now that they are iconic, but at the time folks were like "what were they thinking? that doesn't even have anything to do with the damn band!"

and i always thought The Pet Shop Boys and The Beastie Boys were silly names, but they'll be the first to tell you the same.

This one is actually quite funny, but I mentioned it because it's the only representant of this stupid tendency to name bands with long non-sensical phrases that I can remember anymore. (Ok, Godspeed You!#!(?()& Black Whatever and the like come to mind also.)

are the only four that come to mind aside from others already mentioned..yea,I use to listen to a lot of punk.
