New RS-1s on Ebay for 550; 3 avail

i guess the standard debate will ensue..is this for real? can he posts pics of all three units? is he a dealer or something? how did you get 2 325i from him?

He lists 325i's and RS1's for sale all the time on eBay. I've talked to him (back when I was looking at getting a pair of 325i's) in the past, and he seems completely legitimate, also his feedback is quite excellent. I'd trust him if I were going to get a pair, though I'm not advising anyone else to, use your own judgement.

I have bought two 325is from him both on ebay. Both arrived quickly by Fedex, brand new and sealed with that distinct Grado smell. I left positive feedback. That's all I have to report.

I too have purchased from him, it was brand new. The only objection I had was that I did not recieve an official Invoice though he had told me he will be giving it. Later he said it was misplaced or so and despite my repeated mailing him, even offering him to pay for the postage of the invoice, he never did. So you may want to talk to him and confirm that aspect with him.

Apart from that the headphones was in perfect shape, brand new without doubt. Again, the ususal stuff to use your own judgement.

$50 can/cannot be material

but rs-1s, i chose the sponsor over him, but it's just me

They should just call them Monday morning Grado's. I don't know about the rest of you, but I hate being at work first thing Monday...

I bought my RS-1's from him. Fortunately they weren't the recent special "late friday" edition. I bought them and he had to wait about 2 weeks for me to pay him (because I needed to get verifed on paypal) he was fine with it. Great seller and great phones.

I live in the UK so I couldn't buy from the head-fi sponsors and theres no possible way I'd be able to afford the UK prices

No! I cancelled my order with HeadRoom, because the RS-1's that came in had minor wood defects! They were in the 2700 model # group. I will pick them up at a later date, until all the kinks are worked out!
