Dynalo vs Gilmore Lite ?

Kevin Gilmore published a project called a class a headphone amplifier on headwize. It is commonly reffered to as "dynalo".

Headamp produces amps based on this design. The lite is called so since its power supply is simpler than the one in the article.

A dynalo can thus be any amp based on this article, with simple psu or not, adequate wiring or loosy wiring, matched transistors or not. A dynalo could be way better than a gilmore lite or way worse.

So... what dynalo are you attempting to compare to the Lite from headamp ?

It is extremely similar. Same power supply, pcb of similar quality, same for parts. The only real difference in my view is the better volume control and the resistors (the effect on the sound is not as big in my view).

It should be close to a lite from headamp, in the same quality league.
