I'm looking into buying a pair of headphones for my computer, mostly for gaming but also for music (mostly industrial, some classical and bits of techno here and there) and a little bit for movies. I was thinking about getting the Beyer DT250-80 but after reading a review posted here I'm not too sure. I'd like to know what the rest of you think.

How well would the DT250-80's fit my intended usage? What other headphones should I look into? Are the DT250-80's worth their price?

Any other relelvant comments welcome.

You've pretty much described one of their best uses.

The only piece of advice I can offer is to consider getting an amp for them down the track, maybe a Meta42?

"worth the price" is relative - how much are you going/willing to pay?

The DT250-80 are IMO the perfect computer headphones: closed, great sound, and just enough of a slight mellowness in the highs to counteract the harshness in most soundcards.
