Hey, I used to play too. Was a great game -- too bad it died ... I think the leader of the regiment Midnight Rangers was trying to buy it from 2AM but it got tied up with all the bankruptcy stuff. Maybe we'll see it again some day.
Not dumb enough fora custom title...so he thought.

I got mine from a game called "Subspace" by Virgin Interactive. If you want to know what it was like, go play "Cosmic Rift" by sony (cosmicrift.station.sony.com), there is a free limited version. Because when I was playing a beta version, they had this server that ran various different game ideas (to find cool ones to add permanatly)
Anyway, I was feeling uncreative and just set my name to Bubba (hey, I'm from South Carolina), and entered the experimental server. The game that was running assigned you ranks based on kills/deaths. So if you killed a lot of people and died a good bit, you were a P.F.C. If you didn't kill many people and lived forever, you were a general (the idea being that you were cordinating actions from a safe location). I took the middle road and became Capt.-Bubba by the end of the game's running time (about a week). I liked the name, so I now use it for just about everything.
Old Pa is what I am known as around the house. That's what my spaniel daughters and my "God-dog-ter" labrador deceivers, westies, and Akitas all know me as. You call me "John" and they will look at you like "who's that?"; You tell them Old Pa's coming to see them and the opera starts. Fourteen years ago last March, when I came up the stairs to the kitchen for with my seven-week-old Brittany, Jenny, cradled in my arms for her first time up, my wife looked over at us and started laughing. "Well, Old Pa," she said, "Looks like you've got a little girl."
