I have just started a new online music and hifi magazine called TONE-Audio. I am formerly from The Absolute Sound and wanted to put together something a little bit more fun, with a bit wider range and not just full of mega expensive gear. We are already sponsoring a user column every month, as well as some set up and DIY articles too. Hopefully, you will appreciate the range of gear reviewed, this first issue was a bit heavy on the tubes, but more to come!

I was talking to Jude today about asking the forum for a headphone/headphone accessory reviewer.

If you are interested, please email me some writing samples, and if you have any ideas to go along with the column. I feel that this is an area that would be great to cover and certainly one I am not experienced with.

Anxious to hear what you think! I know when I worked for TAS, we didn't take much interest in the headphone world, (but we took everyone's money for ads....) so I would really like to change that in TONE. It's a world that I too need to get up to speed on.

I am fortunate that our studio is out behind the house, so I can listen at all hours of the night. Back in the apt. days I used to have a pair of Stax that I used with an old Stereo 70 as a headphone amp!

Looking forward to getting back in to headphones and looking forward to this forum helping us out!
