Carole King and James Taylor-Live at the Troubadour is a very nicely recorded and mastered album. If this is your kind of music, give it a listen.

Entire album (it's a live album, not that it sounds much like one). Just flat out amazing. I'm not much of a Jazz fan, but it just doesn't get much better than this. Well recorded and with the right set up it'll knock your socks off with the amount of detail you hear.

Shades of Blue by Madlib is a very well recorded live play of Bluenote jazz music remixed. I'm not into hip-hop myself but the jazz-side of works such as this one is pretty amazing. This album is  golden, and recorded masterfully.
