This RX-7 looks SWEET! Link
Any opinions on that one andrezjpw? Looks a little pricey...

actually, that one is considered to be QUITE good. Problem is, it gets even more expensive. You need a body, servos, electronics, etc, I think. . .

JMT: Actually, 2 years ago, my family went with another family on a camping trip in minnesota. Basically, we went to the boundry waters area, canoed all day(OH GOD. THE SEARING ARM PAIN that night!), and we camped on an island for a week. I learned many things during that trip, including that leeches really aren't that bad, and pike are pretty fiesty.

Similarly, I ate ramen noodles. Actually, I sorta like the taste!

Wait, college in two years. Ramen noodles, here I come! I need audio gear and rc car stuff, right?

How do they differ from the more expensive ones?
These are only $16.99.

Those are the cheaper versions. Basically, you get about 90% of the "real" thing. The original Tomy cars give you a better body, etc. For fooling around with, they are fine. But for more involved things, the originals are better. Most of them still accept original tomy upgrades. Engines, etc.

I paid $35 shipped. Pretty expensive, I suppose. But 45 sec charges for 5 minutes of play time sounds perfect.

EVERYTHING is upgradeable too. I like. And they are fast and handle well, which will let me play with them on my tables.
