Hello every one.

Ok, they are very expensive. But have any one tried Marantz PMD650 Professional MiniDisc Recorder or Superscope PSD230 Performing Arts Portable CD Player as audio source?

Not yet - I'm still considering the smaller brother PSD-220, though. But I'd have to order it overseas, because it's twice as expensive over here... <sigh>
