Question on 4G ipod's RW/FF control | Headphone Reviews and Discussion - Head-Fi.org

You know how you change the volume on the ipod by using the click wheel. Is it possible to configure it so that you can rw/ff that way instead of changing the volume? I use line-out so that is not the most useful, and when im listening to podcasts, it is a real pain to fast-forward.

Click the center wheel then roll your finger on it?

As W1nd wrote, click the select button. When the diamond appears you can quickly scroll to any spot you like. Clicking the select button repeatedly offers a few other options, so play with it a bit.
