I bought some 280's a while ago and really liked the isolation and overall sound. But I realized that the lack of bass was killing me. I like bass, but not out of control bass, and for some reason I thought the 280 would be a good fit due to its rep for having clean low bass. Unfortunately, there just isn't enough of it. Is there a pair that has the 280's strengths (clean mids, good isolation) but with solid bass? I want to use them for DJ'ing (Deep House) at home. Right now the 25-1 is the leader. How are the 770 and 880 for this? Too excessive?
