I visited the Presto Classical site to get my classical fix, ended up with a handful of titles I have high expectations for:

BIS2028, 2048 and 2128 - Carl Nielsen Symphonies 1-6 / Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra (Sakari Oramo)
BIS2081 - JS Bach Lutheran Masses I / Bach Collegium Japan (Masaaki Suzuki)
BIS2106 - Kalevi Aho Works for Solo Piano / Sonja Fräki

BIS2106 - Kalevi Aho Works for Solo Piano / Sonja Fräki

As an ever-growing fan of Aho's work, I've been interested in hearing this ever since I heard it was coming out. Still haven't spotted it at my local record store, so might have to order it online. I heard a live performance of his string quintet "Hommage à Schubert" this spring (Elina Vähälä and Jaakko Kuusisto on violin, Anna Kreetta Gribajcevic on viola, Jan-Erik Gustafsson and Senja Rummukainen on cello) and it was one of the most profoundly moving experiences I've had. A profoundly stunning and captivating work and rendition. I was tearing up because of how sublime it was. I truly hope BIS will record it at some point as part of their ongoing Aho series.
