Hi, does the CMOY use 2 opamps? I looked at the amplifier design picture on Headwize and thats for only one channel right? So I need to build 2 of them?

You can buy single or dual channel opamps. If you use the single channel ones you will need 2 of them but only 1 if you use the dual ones (they have leads for both the right and left channel).

Do a search here and find the CMOY tutorial that "Tangent" has posted (I don't have his web link off hand). This is a great help answering specific question about the CMOY - it is kind of an idiot's guide to making a CMOY. Search for "Tangent, tutorial" and you should find it.

If you are thinking of 132/134 family then you should get the dual channel version 2132 ($4.88 ea)/2134 ($2.63 ea) since they are cheaper than getting the two single channel 2 X 132 (no stock in digikey) or 2 X 134 ($2.10).
