Beth Gibbons - Out of Season - Just generally gorgeous recording.

The Klezmatics - Jews With Horns. fantastically well recorded and mastered, and it's amazing music to boot.

I can't really understand the fuzz about DSOTM having a "great" recording. I find the imaging odd and the sound somehow clogged. It's good, but clearly doesn't have the sweetness and air a great recording should have.

Alison Krauss - New Favorite

wow, man. you just reached into that dark, mildewy corner of my memory and pulled out a gem. i haven't listened to the klezmatics in forever, and i never knew that this album had such good SQ. i'm going to have to dig it up, if i still have it... thanks!
