I got the DIMARZIO cables today. There were 2- 1.5 ft. and 2- 6 ft. cables. I pulg two of them into my cd deck to srereo amp and two of them from my stereo amp tape out to my supreme amp.
Right off I notice a larger sound stage. Then I notice a very clear sound. Then I notice higher high end sound. Then I notice a bit more mid range. Then I notice tighter bass and seeminly lower bass but tight. The cables are very clear and give my 580s better performance. I am glad that I bought these cables even though some say that there are cheeper ones out there. I feel that I got very good cables. So now I have the 580s ,a supreme amp,ics cables and an waiting for my equinox cables for my 580s , they will ship 5/7. My sound is very very good for me. Thanks all for your help. I never had it so good.

Hi: How are you? You seem to forget that I am a poor man. 2000 for a cd deck is for get it. Now if I deciede to up grade to a new cd deck I will only go 400.00 or 500.00 thats it. TOD at headroom said that he would help me with this when I am ready. How are you doing with your stuff. I hope that you are enjoying it. It is nice to hear from you.

Do you have these cables and if so do you hear the same improvements that I hear? Tomorrow or tue. I will get my equinox cables for my 580s. Do you think that I will hear even more of such improvements with them also? Do you have the equinox cables? Its wierd but how much more can the 580s improve? I am useing the supreme amp with them. The 580s keep getting better and better and they were great to start with.

as a suggestion, dropping $3xx dollars in cables and only $500 on your next cd player may not be the best allocation of your funds. the improvements you've heard are essentially letting you hear more of what your source is offering. btw, what's your source currently?

HI: How are you? I am ashamed to say but my cd deck is an OPTIMUS PRO. SERIES. It sounds real good but I know that it is my weekest point now. So far I got the 580s, the supreme amp, the 4 dimarzio cables and the equinox cables for my 580s. So I think that you might now say that I need a better cd deck and I would agree with you. But CARLO what bank do I rob? This stuff cost quite a bit of money. But I am already researching cd decks. Also my stereo amp is a good sony 500 watt 5.1 so that is great.

no believe me, i understand the money thing. here's what you've gotta do: get three friends together, steal a car, pick up a gat on the blackmark... er, nevermind.

if at all possible, i suggest sticking with the optimus until you can save for a higher grade deck in the four figure range, or parlay your budget into the used market. from what's been said of your components your system is worthy of it. hindsight is 20/20, but i would've opted for cheaper ic's and put the difference into your source. but the cool thing is that's one less thing to worry about later

Man you talking 1000 for a cd deck? This might sound crazy but I think it all sounds really great now. I know better cd would be better But if I do get one 4or5 hundred is tops if I even do that. I am stopping getting stuff for a good while. My equinox cables come today or tomorrow and that should also make a difference. I ant top of the line of guy. I was happy with my mini disc and portapros and total airhead a while back. Now all this stuff. I need a break. At lease 6 months and pay for all this stuff. When I have all that I bought payed then I will maby think of a new tape deck maby. Like I said it all sounds better than I have ever had it befor allready.So forgive me for giving up put I ant one of them rich guys. I am a poor person who has real good sound like I have never heard it befor. I will read the boards for now I an additiced to them now but me buy no more me give up. LOU
