Honestly, I have no clue

I sure want it though; Lateralus was, IMO, their best ever.

Oh, and there are rumors that they might release the DVD with the new album, which could make up for the past 4 years

read a couple of places that most of the band had been in the studio working on stuff waiting for maynard to stop touring with a perfect circle. I think most of those places were a synopsis of this article/interview from april 2004. the band minus maynard said they were shooting for a year end/early 2005 drop date, so theoretically could come soonish but other than that I don't know anything.

they were saying it would prob sound harder than lateralus which may or may not be a good thing.

*crosses fingers and hopes to hear it sometime this year*

Be sure to check out the String Quartet Tributes to Tool: Third Eye Open and Metamorphic if you haven't already.

Wow I totally, completely, absolutely had forgotten about that it's been so long.

On a Tool related sidenote at the Bob Katz link in my sig, under CD honor roll is listed Aenima as an uncompresed CD.

I also think that while Aenima is pretty good in SQ, Lateralus is fantastic. BTW, if anyone has a Lateralus album when it FIRST came out, check the spelling of the title track on the back

Boom, instant collector's item

Sduibek, I check out your profile for headphones (Current own the HD650, previously: HD590, CD3000) and was wondering if you tried out any other headphones, specifically Grados, for listening to tool?
