Hello.
A friend of mine will be getting a pair of 340's in the mail this week.
I hear the cable is really poor. Larry at headphile.com offers new cable and driver tweak for 150$ + shipping, which means ca. 250$ including tax in this case. If he had the money, the phones would be on their way to Larry.
Is there a cheaper alternative? Would a Belden 8412 mic cable and a neutrik gold plated minijack be a decent upgrade to the stock steel cable? Any suggestions for cables (also for the little cables inside) or other tweaks?
