I have my AV710 set up using High Sample Rate in 2 Channel Mode. My 5.1 Logitech Z530s are plugged into the 7/8 Jack. I use the AV710 For playing music in Foobar

I have my onboard AC97 audio using NVMixer in Headphone mode. My HD 497s are plugged into the Line Out on the AC97. I use the AC97 for gaming

1. Is it possible to use 5.1 on the AV710 while keeping High Sample Rate turned on?

2. Why dosen't "Convert Mono to Stereo" in Foobar's DSP Manager work with the AV710?

3. All my ripped CDs are Uberstandard MP3s but when i view the console while a song is playing it says "INFO (CORE) : Clipping detected" is this normal?

4. I cannot use my HD-497s with my AV710 through eithier the 7/8 jack or the Headphone Jack on my Logitech Z350's, because they both sound underpowered. Does this mean my Z350's Headphone jack is un-amped like the 7/8 Jack on my AV710?

I want to use the 710 for Music and Gaming but I have no idea on how i should go about setting it up.

Any ideas?

No, or at least not to my knowledge.

I didn't have this problem when I had my AV-710.

This means that the signal is reaching the maximum volume and is normal for most modern CDs (though of course the less clipping the better).

Maybe, or maybe it just sucks.

I assume you mean for both surround sound gaming and stereo music at the same time? In that case, you'll have to set the drivers to 6-channel and use the green jack and not the high resolution one for the front stereo output.

Like it says, high-res mode is 2 channel only. So it won't work in 5.1...
