I noticed that when I use foobar w/ kernal streaming, the music stops when a sound plays from a website or from Winamp. No other sounds work when foobar is playing (not even AIM sounds). I'm using an A710. Here are my settings:
A710 @ Hi Sample Rate
target same rate: 96000 hz slow mode
output: kernal streaming
everything else is default

Is there a way to stop foobar from cutting off?

That's interesting, probably a flaw related to the AV710/Envy chip. This did not occur with my Audigy 2 ZS. I've heard people mention that Kernel Streaming is supposed to monopolize the input, but I've never seen it happen myself. I'm guessing that the high sampling rate in combination with kernel streaming is probably causing the limitation.
