Before I spring on a Grado 1/4"-1/8" headphone jack adapter to get my 1/4" Oehlbach plug to fit in my Supermacro, tonight I realized I had a 1/8"-1/8" adapter that came with my iRiver iHP-140 that was made to fit a mini plug in a smaller jack area (like the one on the iRiver in-line remote). I bought a thick single-piece 1/4-1/8 adapter when I first got the cable, but I soon found out that in order to get the adapter to plug into my Supermacro, I had to flip the power switch on first and not use the AC power to get it to fit. And just now, I realized I had this iRiver adapter that I am connecting the 1/4-1/8 adapter to, so the signal is going through both of these adapters before getting to the Oehblach cable. How much signal degradation is taking place? It's not really audible, but I've only been listening for a few minutes. Should I just go ahead and get the Grado adapter that has the male 1/8 plug extended from the female 1/4 end? Thanks for any help

whoops! I totally meant to post this in the Cables/etc. forums. If the mods could move this there it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Mike.
