Nice review! Well-written...and everything you say about their sound matches my experience with these over-achieving headphones.
I've been pad-changing w/them, today will order more HM5 "extra thick" pads to play with. Those HM5's are ~.25" less in depth than the Yenona's (terrifically comfortable) stock pads--but their inner opening is somewhat wider than the stock pads.
Should be interesting to hear those pads on the Yenona's (@peter123 has favorably commented on those pads w/the Yenona's).
