I'd disagree with your thought on the transparency and micro-detail, and the comfort score is a bit high imo.
Pretty well-written review.

I agree with most of what you said on the review (granted I only had an hours with these) I felt it was a bit TOO in your face, however the bass was extremely well controlled and nothing seemed harsh or distorted. Personally i sitll prefer the XS (but then again it could have been the source that changed my feeling about these :\ )

@Danpyre Noted. Updated those portions of the review.

@mechavore884 Thanks for the feedback, I might add something about this at a later date.

U shaped?! You are crazy. V shaped! (J/K... but that is what I love most about these cans, the U/V shaped sound signantrue)
I am glad you brought these up for video games. For some I found them to be REALLY fun. Something like Resongun sounded 10 times better on the M100 compared to hd598, q701, or X1. BUT I found for some games like Battleifeld, the M100 were overwhelming. When you got in a cehcial the engine roar of a tank or heli was too much. The Bass from those engines was too much, overwhelming and not good sounding.

An 7 for comfort?.....I give it a 10 for uncomfort. Btw yesterday it was an 8 for comfort. The pain on the ears is even worse today than yesterday.
So, that must stated the edit today, I think :p...but nice review overall

First, keep up the reviews. Second, it would be nice to see some simplification. After the first 1200 words most people move on.

Nice I liked the review, I hope it should be priced at little lower and I would have grabbed the product now only.
Will wait for your next review.

@gr34td3str0y3r First off, boy what a name! Second, this weekend when I have more free time I will be testing out several PC games and testing the sound on the M-100, stay tuned.

@Meck Your comment gave me an idea, I'll update the score accordingly.

@NA Blur I'll see if I can find places to simplify the review a bit. Appreciate the feedback!

@maverick1245 Thanks for your positive feed back! Going to try to get the FiiO E6 review in a bit!

Have you ever felt a well-made headphone that you could forgot it's on your head even if you wear it for the entire day?
I still think the comfort section is too high.  Without the XL pads, my ears pressed up against the driver, and I had to practically wear it as an on-ear for it to not get really uncomfortable the moment I put it on.  With the XL pads, it can get to the point where it hurts and your ears are sensitive.
I think you should try on something like the K7XX, return, and see what your comfort rating changes to.

@Danpyre You make a very good point I seem to be having issues with both pads also, adjusting scores accordingly. I'll try to get around with the AKG's.

Not sure if anyone else has ever noticed this, but I find these headphones more comfortable if I wear them further down my ear, perhaps two clicks down from where you think they need to be worn.

I have the XL pads and can wear these comfortably for 4+ hours.  I also think it helps to slide my ear lobes inside the pads when I first put them on.  I consider my ear size to be normal.

What Val really needs to do is create an XXL/XXXL pad and be done with all this nonsense.  Why take the time to create a larger pad that still doesn't fit everyone?

@ssloan Everybody's ears are different, but I agree with the larger pads idea.

@Meck I was referring to the reviewer after he updated it.  I felt 7 was still too high.
I haven't tried that one, but my ears don't touch anything in my AKG's.
