Does the soundstage sound all whacked out compared to most of your other earphones? A "usual suspect" case of a "broken pair" is a pair of buds wired out of phase with each other by accident.
Agree, absolute cr..p. had mine for an hour, plugged them into my fiio x3 below loud, and bang, the right earpiece gave way. Could not be bothered even returning them. Disposed them in the garbage. Say's it all.
@Joe Bloggs : the soundstage is fine, they just suck tremendously at a specific range of the spectrum (~7khz-8khz).
Sometimes i try different tips and push them even further down my canal and i say to myself that they sound "OK" if i get the perfect fit but then when i put my cheapo Awei IEMs on i realize how much the TTPODs suck!
It's like they designed the PERFECT iems for NOT enjoying music no matter what sound signature you prefer.
@Viber i think you might not be getting a good fit, which i found to be very difficult with the ttpods none of the stock tips that they came with were long enough to seal properly. making the housing rubb against my ears, not comfortable especially when the housing is that large! and definitely impacted the sound as well. While its not my favorite sounding earphone, i can see its appeal for those seeking something bassy but still fairly tight as well, amongst the more conventional bassy earphones
@Viber I should have done a review cuz they are spectacular garbage. Watch the vid as i mention them for a minute and show em...they are so damn bad. Not bassy. Listening to them side by side right as I type this with the AD01 and it's a joke. Is it worth doing 1 star reviews?...yes because mine woulda been and maybe you woulda hesitated.
